Show Notes

Helping your child preparing and pay for college can be a daunting task. Start early by having conversations with your child about the new financial literacy requirement for all incoming freshman in the state of Ohio. In this podcast, we discuss with instructor Rob Schofield and two high school freshman, Kelly Kotyk and Nathan Lamb about their recent experience with the new financial literacy class they completed this summer at Avon Lake High school.

How can you help your child prepare adequately for one of the most important financial decisions they will make in their life? Going to college is expensive but is it right for you or your child? There are many ways to explore careers that doesn’t involve going into debt. If you’re child is unsure about their career direction and want more information about how to complete a degree, debt free and find a career that fits your personality, interests and skills, reach out to the No Loan Zone host, Janet Maltbie at noloanzone.com/contact.
